- Days 1–3: The forehead will be wrapped in a compressive dressing to minimize swelling. Patients may experience mild to moderate discomfort, managed with oral analgesics. Swelling (edema) and bruising are common and may migrate downward to the eyelids, causing temporary "black eyes."
